April 19th, 2021 - Board Meeting Minutes
Board Meeting 4/19/21 @6:30
In attendance: Beth, Nick, Rhonda, Amy, Parker, Lauren, and Brett
Free Little Library - Parker will put in yard for neighborhood. Will be registered with the website to make it official.
Signs - Signs need to be touched up. Will check shed to see if we can figure out paint color. Ask any neighbors if they are interested in touching up signs.
Insurance - We do not have any equipment to add on
Pavilion - If neighbors have questions about why we cannot add a pavilion they can call the township. It is considered a dwelling and insurance will need to be updated and it would become taxed.
Dock Rule - We are asking that every dock share to get the most boats access. Day docking needs some improvements so we will look at purchasing poles and bumpers. All docks are on the park which is community property. Currently 1 person on waitlist.
Soccer Goal - Yes to addition of soccer goal. Lauren has a goal and will just need to purchase a net.
Tennis Nets - Should be taken down yearly to keep them in good shape.
Parking Sticker - Get new stickers. Seemed to help at park. Did not notice overnight parking. Neighbors have been locking gate which has also been helpful. Possible hanging tags for people who have a sensitive need and don’t want people knowing where they live.
By-laws - Will be recorded
Spring Meeting - June 6th @4:00 Asking if anyone would be interested in a board seat. Current board is willing to serve another year if nobody is interested. Lauren will look into a shaved ice truck to help bring people down to the meeting. Lauren will create flyer.
Mosquito Spray - Worked well and we will do it again.
Food Truck - Lauren and Amy will work on getting a food truck down at park one evening.
Website - Up for renewal. Useful for neighbors to turn in forms on. Refer to website often to help neighbors keep up to date information.
Financials - Nick shared financial information
